Then again, the LeSabre T-Type was a thing and it was fairly sporty

The Ford Anglia was offcourse Britain’s most iconic sports car of the 1960s.

I like hoods that go down over the fenders like that.

My first car was a 1980 Plymouth Champ, this was the view when the hood was open:

My grandpa had a LeSabre of that vintage - I always thought it was cool the way that hood opened. The rest of the car, not so cool.

77HP, before the three speed automatic! I could almost keep up with my sister’s ‘71 Beetle to 60. Could pull away on the highway.

I love my 1990 Electra Park Ave. Seriously about to restore it.

Restomod it. Dash, steering wheel, seats, engine, transmission from a newer car like a 2000 LeSabre :D

Those were great comfy cruisers. My Grandma had one of the first 85's to roll off the line.

No way. First, the interior isn’t even remotely close. Second, the 2000 LeSabre SUCKS. My mom had one and I hated it with a passion. I’m gonna clean mine up and get everything working, except the stereo. I will upgrade what makes sense but a few things, like the AC, has already been updated.

I dunno, I loved my LeSabre 2000

Very Saab-like.

That would be pretty awesome! Do you have any pics of your Electra?

Wow, never knew Buick did hinge those hoods like this. This makes the LeSabre just as good as an E34 M5, right?

Don’t laugh...with the 3.8L V6, this was a pretty quick car for the day.
